Better Store Search

With the standard Magneto search, each of the fields included in a general search are weighted evenly when your key phrase is matched. With Better Store Search from WDCA, you'll be able to assign weights to certain fields to increase relevancy. For example, you will probably agree that if a key phrase is found in a product title, it is a Better, more important match. With Better Store Search you can make that happen by weighting results found in the Title more heavily than other attributes like the product description.

More Accurate Search Results
Density-based matching improves the accuracy of search results by moving products that better match search queries to the top of returned results.

This is the same method of search relevence that is employed by Google.

For example, if a customer searches for "computer", then "Apple Computer" will be returned as a higher result than "Neon Blue Computer Accessory Case"

Manually Specify Weightings
Allows you to specify custom search weightings that will either reduce or increase the chances that products will appear near the top of search results.

For example, if you assign an adjustment weighting of +1 to a particular product, then that product will be more likely to appear before other products in a search (depending on the search and other product weights).
