As you can see from the screenshot, each of those delivery options comes with a small description just below the input box. Let's look into the details of what each of these options provide.

Display 'Deliver to Post Office' option
Deliver to Post Office is an innovative delivery option available via Canada Post’s Web Services program that allows your online consumers the choice to have their item(s) delivered to a post office of their preference and convenience. Canada Post has an extensive network of secure post office facilities which also makes this service ideal for high-value or temperaturesensitive items.
An automated email notification is issued to the addressee once the item is delivered to the post office, advising them their parcel is ready for pickup. If the item has not been picked up after five (5) days the addressee will receive a second email and a phone message to remind them to pick up their item. The addressee or their representative will be asked to show one valid piece of government-issued photo identification at the post office for authentication. After 15 days, if the item has not been picked up, it will be returned to the originating address indicated on the shipping label. Refer to Section 5 for more information on our Online Solutions and Shipping Tools.

Display 'Card for Pick Up' option
A Delivery Notice Card will be left for the addressee and the item will then be forwarded to the designated post office. The addressee or his representative is required to show one valid piece of government-issued photo identification when picking up the item. This option is ideal for shipments containing temperature-sensitive items.

Display 'Leave at Door (Do not card)' option
This option is only available for items that are usually delivered to the door. If no one answers the door, the delivery agent will look for an appropriate safe drop location. A Safe Drop Card, indicating the location of the safe drop, will be left in the addressee’s mail receptacle. If Safe Drop is not possible, a Delivery Notice Card will be left, and the item will be available for pickup at the designated post office.

Display 'Do not Safe Drop' option
This option changes the delivery process only for items that are usually delivered to the door. A delivery attempt will be made at the door and, if no one is available to receive the item, the item will not be safe dropped. A Delivery Notice Card will be left, and the addressee will be able to pick up the item at the designated post office.
